My 2014 New Year’s Resolutions

I thought maybe if I posted my music and blog goals on here it would hold me accountable. Here’s my New Year’s Resolutions for 2014. If you can assist me in any way accomplish these, please let me know.

  •  Post At Least 1 Quality Post in Addition to Free Music Friday Every Week

I plan on posting every single week. Since Free Music Friday is already a given I’m hoping to post two more times weekly.

  • Document Every Band Seen

Every year I say I’m going to keep track of every band I’ve seen and every year I don’t. This year I have a blog about concert hopping that I have to update weekly, so I should be able to accomplish this. Let’s see how long it takes me to see 100 different bands.

  • Always be Reading a Book

Every time I finish a book this year I’ll start another. Non-Fiction is my favorite and I want to keep with the music/concert theme, any suggestions are welcomed.

  • Attend At Least 3 Festivals

I know I’ll for sure be at Bonnaroo. Where else should I go?

  • Join More Street Teams

I’m going to need to earn as many tickets as possible to keep this blog up. Let me join your street team, please.
What are some of your New Year’s Resolutions for 2014?

About Taryn Balwinski

Taryn Balwinski is the boss lady of ConcertHopper.com. She lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee and loves it. When she isn’t concert hopping, street teaming, or blogging, Taryn works full-time in Administrative Support for the non-profit mentioned in that Macklemore song. She also finds time to eat spicy food and sleep. You can find her up against the rail or on the ADA platform during the show. Yoko Ono’s “Bad Dancer” is her theme song. She started the site as a music themed personal blog, but soon decided the project would be more fun with friends.

  1. These are admirable goals!! We will need to be accountability partners in our respective goals this year I think…especially when it comes to reading, LOL! (See how far I've sunk?! I now need an accountability partner to make sure I'm reading a book…my high school self would eviscerate me if she knew this is how I grew up…)
