Enjoy a Rap Concert as a Family

Hayley (the marked one) & I before getting turnt up.
It was quite fitting that my sister, Hayley and I’s first concert together was to see to brothers, Juicy J and Project Pat.
I’ve been going to so many concerts lately. Sometimes it starts to feel old hat, like just something I do. Don’t get me wrong I’m still in love with it and still get excited to see live music, but it’s different. Hayley was giddy. It was refreshing to be with someone who was enjoying her first major concert. That first concert excitement is contagious.

Hayley and her boyfriend, Cody were fun concert hoppers. I’m already trying to convince them to drive back down to Chattanooga on April 17th for Wick-it The Instigator at Rhythm & Brews.
Any of you veteran Concert Hoppers ever take someone to their first concert?

About Taryn Balwinski

Taryn Balwinski is the boss lady of ConcertHopper.com. She lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee and loves it. When she isn’t concert hopping, street teaming, or blogging, Taryn works full-time in Administrative Support for the non-profit mentioned in that Macklemore song. She also finds time to eat spicy food and sleep. You can find her up against the rail or on the ADA platform during the show. Yoko Ono’s “Bad Dancer” is her theme song. She started the site as a music themed personal blog, but soon decided the project would be more fun with friends.

  1. So fun… glad yall got to enjoy the night as a family !! I don't know if you remember Jenny… (my Godmother's daughter) but the best concert we ever saw was Billy Joel a few decades ago! LOL And my FIRST concert was with my best friend from High School – we went to see Bruce Springsteen at the Orange Bowl. No greater pride than wearing our concert tee's to school afterwords! LOL

  2. I saw Bruce Springsteen at Bonnaroo in '09. One of the best sets I've ever seen.
