Waka Flocka Flame at Track 29

Readers of this blog are already well-aware that you can’t take a good concert picture of me and my sister, Hayley will only attend rap concerts with me. Last night Hayley, her beau, Cody Wampler and I went to see Waka Flocka Flame at Track 29. It started off normal enough we parked ourselves against the barrier and danced to Mayhem.

Then Waka’s set started. I’m not sure at what point of the night Hayley, Cody and I were drafted onto the twerk team, but it happened. A member of Waka’s crew came up to us and asked us if we wanted to go on stage, we responded oh let’s do it  and then there we were. My sister trained for this moment or maybe she’s natural who knows, but she came prepared to twerk. Myself, on the other hand… I think the photo below via Waka Flocka Fame’s Instagram illustrates my awkwardness perfectly.

What am I even saying?

I “danced” a little.

That’s Cody
I chilled with the entourage.
Brick Squad!

Then I got off the stage and texted my mom.
She’s so proud.

Thank you Waka and company for allowing this to happen. This is definitely a wonderful memory for my sister and me to share. You made her month. Hayley has been a huge fan of your work for years.
