October Music Marathon

Wake me up when September ends. (Sorry, I couldn’t help it.)

If you’re bored next month, it’s your damn fault. You can get your festival fix and enjoy the beautiful weather, or you can take your pick of a night out at various venues around Chattanooga all month long.

Be sure to be at Ross’s Landing October 3rd and 4th for 3 Sisters Bluegrass Festival. This event is free and great way to discover some of the biggest acts in Bluegrass. The lineup is stacked with talent. I’m most excited to see the closing act, The Devil Makes Three. I first heard this band while streaming their Newport Folk Festival performance. Thanks to NPR, you can listen here.

Then the following weekend hop on down to Cherokee Farms in LaFayette, Georgia for Fly Free Fest. October 10th-12th enjoy a diverse lineup, unique art, good food and great vibes. Purchase your tickets now.

You can finish up your music marathon and celebrate Halloween at Voodoo Music and Arts Experience in New Orleans. Sample the lineup here.
