Sloss Fest Lineup Insanity!

I keep looking at the Sloss Fest lineup and seeing things that I’m exceedingly excited about. It is the first week of February and my plans for the weekend of July 15-16 are etched in stone. I. Will. Not. Miss. This. Festival!

Let’s just start out by saying that it’s beyond perfect for Alabama Shakes to headline this still-fairly-new Alabama festival. The band formed about an hour and a half north of Birmingham in Athens, Alabama and have been the pride of the region since their debut album ‘Boys & Girls’ was released in 2012. Matched with Widespread Panic, Odesza and Sturgill Simpson? Insanity for anyone with a music taste similar to mine!

Diving into the undercard is like a music festival dream. So many festival goers were underwhelmed by other lineups this year and where some of those fell short, Sloss Fest is here to deliver. Fans of other AC Entertainment festivals were even breathing a sigh of relief that there was still some hope after what many have called a disappointing Bonnaroo lineup (their words, I’m still all in).

At Sloss, Run The Jewels will be a packed and extremely hype set! Conor Oberst will tear our heart apart in all the best ways. Cashmere Cat will get us dancing and Lawrence will keep it sexy. There’s no question that there is something for everyone on this beautifully curated lineup and I really can’t wait to make the trek to the Sloss Furnaces for my first Sloss Fest adventure!

Tickets are available HERE and I have no doubts that they’ll move quickly so get in there and join us in B’ham this summer! Share who you’re excited to see with #ConcertHopper
