And the Beat Don't Stop: Shaky Beats (2019)

FullSizeRender.jpg

Well look who just dropped another fire lineup? Take a bow, Shaky Beats Music Festival! With a lineup that consists of Martin Garrix, Rufus Du Sol, Big Gigantic, Fisher, Han Solo, Big Wild, Chris Lake, Snakehips, What So Not, Clozee, and The Funk Hunters you can see why. Friday and Saturday are jam packed with some big names in the EDM world and Beat heads are very excited to get to this weekend. The 4th Annual Shaky Beats Music Festival will take place May 10th-11th, 2019 in Central Park in beautiful downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Central Park was the site of last year’s event and I am really glad they kept it there. So much SHADE! This year, Beats decided to shake it up a bit by only having the festival as a two (2) day event instead of the previous three (3) days. Really all this means is now we have a buffer before we all have to be back at work on Monday with a nice day to recoup on Sunday.

Now if you follow Concerthopper, you might have seen Kade’s article, “The Beats are Back: Shaky Beats 2019 Releases Epic Lineup!”, published earlier this week. Kade touches on some of the names at the top of the lineup, so I want to look at three (3) artists you should not miss this weekend.

Big Wild – Jackson Stell A.K.A. Big Wild has been making some sick beats since 2012. But really got his big push once Odesza brought him on tour. I really enjoyed his sets while at Electric Forest (Weekend 1) and Hulaween both in 2017. Check out some of Big Wild by following this link to the Official Soundcloud page.

Clozee – Chloe Herry A.K.A. Clozee is a French born musician who has been taking the EDM world by the reins over the last few years with her style of “Glitch hop”. Her extensive musical background has helped her blend many styles into her instrumentation, which has set her apart from the pack. Check out some of Clozee’s music by following this link to her Official Soundcloud page.

Eddie Gold – Local favorite Eddie Gold has made a name for himself in the Atlanta music scene for some time now. Having residencies at Imagine Music Festival, Believe Music Hall, and Opera Night Club shows how much people really want to get lost dancing to his music. Check out some of Eddie Gold’s music by following this link to his Official Soundcloud page.
