Ride Waves Tour (Night 2): GRiZ live at Coca-Cola Roxy
GRiZ recently performed two nights in Atlanta playing at both The Tabernacle and the following night at Coca-Cola Roxy. Concerthopper was lucky to be present during Night 2 of GRiZ’s Ride Waves Tour with support from The Funk Hunters. Recently, GRiZ was quoted saying in an interview at EDM.com that “this might be the last like touring tour… Like buses, and seven shows in a fuckin’ week.” Don’t fret everyone, this just means GRiZ won’t tour from city to city. He will still play all your favorite festivals including possibly at his own curated festival.
The Funk Hunters are a Canadian funk / glitch hop / electro disco / hip hop / future funk duo that has been filling dance floors across the globe since 2009. The group consists of Nick Middleton and Duncan Smith who met while working together in British Columbia in 2008. It didn’t take long for these two to start making people’s booties shake while The Funk Hunters bedazzled the crowd with a solid set of their nastiest tracks while opening for GRiZ! If you are attending this year’s Suwannee Hulaween, catch their set at the Spirt Lake stage from 5:45-6:45 pm. Want to check out some of The Funk Hunters music?
