August Burns Red: Leveler 10th Anniversary Tour
It has been exactly 604 days since stepping foot into a venue, only a couple of months after is when COVID hit. When everything finally calmed down and opened back up, I was excited to see all the tours being announced especially this one. They announced the tour earlier this year after reworking the album “from the ground up” adding new mixes, guitar solos & more. The band states “We’re unbelievably excited to announce that our first tour back will be the Leveler 10-Year Anniversary Tour,” ABR states. “We are bringing Fit For a King, Erra, and Like Moths to Flames along for the ride, so this will be a tour you don’t want to miss. We can’t wait to see all of your beautiful faces again and then melt them right off. See you this fall!”

August Burns Red is a metal core band from Pennsylvania formed in 2003. The band has released nine studio albums to date; their latest, Guardians, was released on April 3, 2020. The band was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Metal Performance for the song "Identity" from its 2015 release Found in Far Away Places, and again in 2018 for "Invisible Enemy" from Phantom Anthem (2017). The band announced their tour earlier this year to showcase the album “Leveler” it has been 10 years since it’s release date. In honor of it’s anniversary the band decided to rework the album and take things up a notch since the Pandemic kept all bands off the stage. The band rewrote solos, changing the tuning, adding some friends, Ryan Kirby (Fit For A King), Matthew K. Heafy(Trivium) and Misha “Bulb” Mansoor(Periphery) to do some guest spots. When the band came out on the stage, the energy in the room was even more intense than the previous artists that took over the stage. The whole room shook with excitement, being behind the barricade taking photos you could feel it move behind you. During their setlist Ryan Kirby of Fit For A King came out to play Poor Millionaire.
