Brainquility Releases Phase 2

Brainquility 2019 Lineup

Brainquility 2019 Lineup

Brainquility Music and Arts Festival wanted to say ‘Happy Holidays’ to brainiacs across the nation by releasing the funkiest lineup of spring 2019. Curators of Brainquility released the second phase of the lineup on December 26 and brainiacs across the nation are beginning to solidify their plans for the weekend of February 16 & 17. Brainquility phase 2 additions include two sets from Boombox, The Heavy Pets, El Dub, and Octave Cat. This festival is going to sell out, so don’t bank on getting tickets at the gate. Grab your tickets fast and early to guarantee yourself a spot at the funkiest get down on the Suwannee River.

The full Brainquility 2019 lineup features some of the funkiest artists that have ever set foot on Spirit of Suwannee Music Park soil. Many artists, such as Zach Deputy and Lotus, will be quite familiar with these very campgrounds from appearances at various other festivals. The weekend is set to kick-off with experimental dub beats from Opiuo. Opiou will take attendees on a journey through the world of electronic and glitch-hop with his awe-inspiring talent for crafting beats live. Lotus, an instrumental electronic band from Indiana, will be taking the whole audience to church on Sunday with their ever-expanding musical style. The artistically inclined group touch on inspirations from jazz, hip-hop, rock n’ roll, funk and electronic music. You know what they say, never miss a Sunday show.

The Brainquility 2019 lineup touches on all aspects of funk music from live jam bands, to acoustic masterminds, and even some electronic music producers. Zach Deputy, a multi-instrumentalist from Savannah, uses loop pedals to prove that you truly can be the leader of a one man band. If Zach Deputy pluckin’ out some funky tunes on guitar and then looping in some beats doesn’t get you feelin’ groovy then all hope has been lost. Space Kadet, an Atlanta based live electronic band, has some similar funky vibes but with a full-scale band. Their vibe touches on a variety of genres as they focus on creating funky, spacy vibes at their shows. The results? An absolutely groovy set that anyone can get down to regardless of their music interests. Brainquility focuses on bringing the creativity between music and art together, and their musical lineup exudes creativity.

The Brainquility curators have relocated the festival from its prior home to Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. The change comes with expansions to the layout of the festival and addition of some options to camp, use golf cart transportation and even rent cabins. While the venue is no longer sitting on a picturesque beach, Spirit of Suwannee Music Park is nothing short of breathtaking beauty around every corner. This venue offers an outpost for aquatic activities next to Suwannee River, a cafe onsite, and even a general store for anyone who may forget to pack in all their necessities for the weekend. If you have never been to Spirit of Suwannee Music Park, get ready to finally feel at home as you nestle down in your hammock and soak in all the funky vibes that radiate beneath the Spanish Moss.

Tickets to Brainquility 2019 are still available at $139 for General Admission and $215 for VIP Admission. VIP Admission includes the official 2019 poster and laminate, access to VIP viewing, access to exclusive VIP bars and the ability to sign up for reserved workshops. VIP ticket holders also have the opportunity to purchase a cabin and/or golf cart package for the weekend. All ticket holders have the opportunity to tack a few extra days of camping at Spirit of Suwannee Music Park with camping add-ons offered by the park. Campers are welcome to bring RV’s or cars into the campgrounds by adding a vehicle pass for a small fee. The expansion and relocation of Brainquility Music and Arts Festival has attendees on their edge of their seats in anticipation of the funky vibes. Don’t miss your opportunity to grab tickets and get down with us on the Suwannee River!
