We can all agree that this is totally Bummer Summer, right? Frankly, having all our concerts and festivals cancelled for the foreseeable future sucks, no matter how necessary it might be.
Our one glimmer of hope is that we can enjoy live music again when it’s safe to do so, but sadly as cases of COVID-19 are still climbing, it’s becoming clear that many of our beloved independent music venues will not survive the continued shutdown without long term support.
We know that money is tight for so many of us, but nagging your elected officials to do something about this (since it’s, you know, their job) is always free.
You can take action right now to encourage your representatives to support the NIVA S. 3814/H.R. 7481, the RESTART act.
