Don’t B.S.A.D: Do the Roo Before June!
You’re viewing the schedule of your favorite festival. Your eyes are racing the down page as you frantically search for all the bands you’ve fantasized about seeing since the line-up drop. You scroll up and down the webpage and your eyes dart back and forth between each stage listed. You start to become confused and frustrated. You sob openly and wonder aloud why all your favorite bands are playing a different stage on the same damn time.
What you’re experiencing is Bonnaroo-Schedule-Announcement-Depression or B.S.A.D. B.S.A.D occurrences in 100% of the hoppers of any festival who actually give a shit about the music.
If you don’t know this feeling, you’re probably just reading this blog to be nice to me. Hi Grandpa! (Just kidding, my Grandpa doesn’t even have a computer. Sneaky Grandpa.)
They do this to us on purpose and the scheduling conflicts cannot be avoided; but with careful pre-festival preparation your B.S.A.D. symptoms will be less severe. I suggest you do the roo before June! Many of the artists on any festival lineup are currently on tour. When they stop in your town go see them!
Many artists from the 2014 Bonnaroo lineup and years prior will be hitting the Track 29 stage soon. To buy your tickets right now visit www.track29.co
