Top 10 New Year's Events

When it comes to New Year's festivities, there's a list so long it is mind boggling. To make things a little easier, we have narrowed it down to the top 10 most talked about events for ringing in 2017. Check out our list and figure out what you'll be doing to rock out and ring in the New Year!

1. The Ultimate Incident 3
   • The String Cheese Incident is hosting a three day run at the 1^st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado starting on Thursday, December 29^th and ending on Saturday, December 31^st. The String Cheese Incident will also be joined by special guest Big Gigantic on Thursday and then the Floozies on Friday. 2. New Year's Eve 360
   • Bassnectar is hosting his annual New Year’s event known as New Year’s Eve 360 in Birmingham, Alabama with special guests Gramatik, Joker, and The Librarian. It’s set to take place at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex on December 31^st with doors opening up at 7:30pm. To celebrate the event’s ten year anniversary, Lorin Ashton announced there will be a special performance with the one and only Android Jones. The anticipation for this event is through the roof seeing that it is completely sold out and people are traveling from all over the world to see this show.
3. Decadence Colorado
   • The sixth annual Decadence New Year’s Eve is set to rock the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado starting on Friday, December 30, 2016. Decadence features a variety of big names on their line up from Adventure Club to Bassnectar to Marshmello to Griz. There are also a variety of ticketing options available through their website, from single day and 2 day general admission passes to sweet VIP packages.
4. Umphrey's McGee 2 Night Run
   • Umphrey’s McGee is set to take over Chicago, Illinois for three days beginning on Thursday, December 29^th at the Riviera Theatre and then moving over to the Aragon Ballroom for December 30^th and 31^st. Umphrey’s McGee will be accompanied by The Motet on Friday, December 30^th.  They will then ring in the New Year with three sets on Saturday, December 31^st. 5. GRiZ: The Get Down
   • For the first time ever, the infamous GRiZ is hosting a New Year’s Eve event in Ashville, North Carolina on Saturday, December 31, 2016. GRiZ will be accompanied by his special guests G-Jones, Papadosio, and Freddy Todd. He has appropriately coined his New Year’s Eve event as The Get Down, and the anticipation for this event is almost unmatched as tickets have been sold out for quite a few weeks now. The fact that GRiZ is hosting a New Year’s event featuring G-Jones and Papadosio is a dream come true for some and it is bound to be a hit.
6. Widespread Panic
   • Widespread Panic is taking over Nashville, Tennessee for a three night run beginning on Thursday, December 29^th at the Ryman Auditorium and then they will be moving over to the Bridgestone Arena for December 30^th and 31^st. Widespread Panic will be accompanied by The McCrary Sisters, Love Sponge String Quartet and the MegaBlasters during their New Year’s Eve concert on Saturday, December 31^st. 7. Pretty Lights
   • Pretty Lights is ringing in the New Year in New Orleans, Louisiana with a two night run at the Mardi Gras World Ballroom. On December 30^th and 31^st, Pretty Lights will be accompanied by a live band and there will also be special guests, such as Emancipator, Manic Focus, and Curren$y. 8. Light Years
   • STS9 is taking Denver, Colorado by storm for three nights at the Fillmore Auditorium. This string of performances they have deemed "Light Years", as that is the title of the interlude on their new album. Project Aspect, option4 and SoDown are also featured on the bill throughout their Colorado takeover.It will be taking place December 29^th through December 31^st .With all the die hard tribe fans from around the world traveling to this event, you don't want to sleep on your chance to grab some last minute tickets off their website!
9. Hometeam New Year's Rally
   • Hometeam New Year's Rally is a very special 4 day music and arts festival in Lakeland, Florida. Hometeam New Year's Rally has a jampacked line up featuring artists such as Zach Deputy, Backup Planet, and Boxcar Hollow. Other than an amazing variety of music to enjoy, Hometeam New Year's Rally will also feature a variety of art work, holistic workshops and special workshops designed just for kids. One things for sure, the lovely people at Hometeam New Year's Rally really know how to say goodbye to this year and rock out into the New Year.
10. Decadence Arizona
    • Decadence Arizona is a two day New Year’s celebration presented by Relentless Beats and Global Dance. The event takes place on December 30^th and 31^st in Chandler, Arizona at the Rawhide Event Center with doors opening at 5:00pm on both days. Both days also have a curfew of 3:00am. Decadence Arizona has an amazing line-up featuring artists such as Marshmello, Porter Robinson, DeadMau5 and Zedd. The anticipation for this event is building up as tickets have almost sold out.
