Kindora’s ‘Don’t Be Lonely’ - For Study Breaks, Not Studying
March 6, 2022, singer, songwriter, and Chattanooga native, Kindora, released the pop album, Don’t Be Lonely. The songs and album sequence are not so conducive to staying still or say sitting to write an album review. Kindora and her creative partner and producer, Rock Floyd, write bops. Kindora remarked about this release on social media,
After frequently encountering what I feel like was a more reoccurring than normal amount of snails, it made me think I needed to slow down and reconsider taking everything around me in and giving myself time to process it all…
Even with this snail’s pace, we hear the songwriting style we know and love from this talented duo. No matter the song’s emotion or topic, it will make you want to dance.
Every song on Don’t Be Lonely is excellent. The live acoustic version of, “Saying The Same Thing” which was posted on Instagram is perfect. Listening closely, you will hear the birds contributing their song to this backyard performance. Other favorites on this album include the songs, “Don’t Be Lonely,” “Hushabye,” “Patient,” “Lover,” and “Montage.” These songs are about the ups and downs of relationships and realistic and relatable situations.
Kindora’s songs are fun like good pop songs should be. Each song holds the potential to be a fresh soundtrack for a variety of creators to use in viral TikTok videos. For example, “Montage” would be perfect for a literal montage of a lively night out with friends.
Friday, April 15, Kindora will be performing in Nashville, TN, at the indie-rock venue, The End. Purchase tickets for that show here. Currently, Kindora is opening for BbyMutha on the national Muthaland Tour.
As a longtime fan of this musician, it is fantastic to see that people all over the country also enjoy the music of this Chattanooga native.
