Warpaint: Live at Terminal West
Recently, the band Warpaint released their third LP entitled Heads Up (September 23rd, 2016) after taking about a year off to rest and record this amazing album. If you are not familiar with the talented women from the band Warpaint, then I hope this article will entice you to check out their music on your own. This Los Angeles indie rock band was formed on Valentine’s Day in 2004 by Emily Kokal (vocals/guitar), Theresa Wayman (guitar/vocals), and Jenny lee Lindberg (bass/backing vocals) with Stella Mozgawa (drums) joining the group in 2009. Their style can be described as dream pop, art rock, and even some hints of psychedelic rock mixed in for good measure. Concerthopper was very fortunate enough to be present at the kick off to their North American tour in support of their new album at Terminal West in Atlanta.
